Task Group

Task Group, as the name shows, it is the collection of tasks. When managers needs to add maintenance plan or inspection plan, they must add some tasks for operators.

You can use it to:

  • configure the tasks.
  • easily deploy to inspection schedules or maintenance programs.
Term Description
Pass/Fail It means that the task's result is pass or fail. The task can be whether the floor is clean, if yes, you can select pass as a result.
Text It means that the task needs text description.
Dropdown You can set some options about the task.
Range You can set a range of values for the task.
Meter Reading It helps you to carry out the meter reading task when doing inspection tasks. Only when the equipment type classification belongs to traditional meters can the task type shows up.

Add Task Group - Location or Equipment

  1. Click "+Add"
  2. Input "Task Group Name"
  3. Select "Location" or "Equipment" as the Task Group Type.
    Note: If you select "Location", you need to select its related location and it can be applied to "Group Inspection." If you select "Equipment", you need to select its related equipment type and it can be applied to "Spot Inspection and Maintenance Plan."
  4. Turn to add task order
  5. Toggle to switch if it's an optional task on the top right corner of each task
    Note: If you switch on the button, then the operators can skip the task when carrying out the tasks in the inspection or maintenance job on the mobile app.
  6. Input "Task Name"
  7. Select "Task Type"
  8. Select yes or no under "Work order required for abnormal task result?"
  9. Select yes or no under "Photo Required?"
    Note: You must select "Yes" when the task type is "Meter Reading"
  10. Upload "Technical Documents"(Optional)
    Note: The formats include:
    Documents: .pdf, .doc, .docx
    Spreadsheets: .xls, .xlsx, .csv
    Presentations: .ppt, .pptx
    Text Files: .txt
    Images: .jpg, .jpeg, .png
    Archives: .zip, .rar, .7z
    Videos: .mp4, .mov, .hevc
    Model: .dwg
  11. Click "+Add" to add one more task order(optional)
  12. Click "Submit".

Add Task Group - Combination

  1. Click "+Add"
  2. Input "Task Group Name"
  3. Select "Combination" as the Task Group Type.
  4. Select Location
    Note: It can be applied to "Group Inspection." This location can be linked with the group location and then display corresponding task group.
  5. Turn to add task order
  6. Select "Location" or "Equipment"
    Note: If you select location, then operators needs to carry out inspection task at this location; If you select equipment, then operators needs to carry out inspection task about this equipment. The location is the inspection task location.
  7. Toggle to switch if it's an optional task on the top right corner of each task
    Note: If you switch on the button, then the operators can skip the task when carrying out the tasks in the inspection or maintenance job on the mobile app.
  8. Input task name
  9. Select associated location or equipment
    Note: If you select location at step 6, you need to select the specific location here. If you select equipment at step 6, you need to select the specific equipment here.
  10. Select task type
  11. Select yes or no under "Work order required for abnormal task result?"
  12. Select yes or no under "Photo Required?"
    Note: You must select "Yes" when the task type is "Meter Reading"
  13. Upload "Technical Documents"(Optional)
  14. Click "+Add" to add one more task order(optional)
  15. Click "Submit".

Import Task Group

  1. Click "Import" on the top right corner of the task group list.
  2. Download the template.
  3. Fill in the template according to the template's filling instructions.
  4. Select the completed template and click "Confirm".
